The Mobile Field Force consists of cross-divisional representatives who have been trained to respond to civil disturbances, public demonstrations and any other event, which may involve large or disorderly crowds. Members train with surrounding agencies and can easily be deployed with them should a mutual aid request become necessary.

The Mobile Field Force protects life and property within the City limits and protects citizen's rights to free speech should they choose to demonstrate. The Mobile Field Force can provide demonstrators, as well as local citizens, with a safe environment during various types of demonstrations.
