Administrative Services
The Administrative Services Division provides administrative and logistical support for the Department, including the maintenance of effective operations, while providing the necessary adequate controls. See details on our Administration page. Administration units include:

Investigations Division
The Criminal Investigations Division's mission and primary responsibility is to thoroughly investigate felony and serious misdemeanor crimes occurring within the City of Sunrise and to identify, arrest, and present offenders to the judicial system. Uniform Division

- Mobile Field Force
Special Operations Divisions
The Special Operations Division’s primary functions are to coordinate police resources for special events; and respond to neighborhood community policing programs, safety and quality life concerns throughout the city. The division consists of five specialized units, which function collectively to fulfill its primary and secondary functions. These specialized units include:
- K-9 Unit
- Traffic Unit
- School Resource Officers
- School Crossing Guards
- Community Resource Officers
