City to Host Swearing-In Ceremony on November 20th
During a Special City Commission Meeting on Wednesday, November 20th at 5:30 p.m., the City of Sunrise welcomes the public to witness our elected officials take their oath of office and officially be sworn in to their municipal government roles in the City of Sunrise.

Sunrise Mayor Michael J. Ryan Selected by UNCF as Keynote Speaker
Mayor Michael J. Ryan has been selected as a keynote speaker for the 24th Annual UNCF South Florida Leader’s Luncheon on December 13th, 2024. The event aims to raise essential funds to support scholarships and programs for students attending historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

County Bridge Rehab on North Pine Island Road
Broward County is rehabilitating a bridge on North Pine Island Road beginning on Monday, October 21st and continuing through August 2025. The impact to traffic will be minimal, as all lanes of traffic will be maintained until the final two weeks of the project.
