The City of Sunrise has long honored its residents, employees, police officers and fire rescue professionals at meetings of the City Commission, and we're proud to be one of the first and only cities in the area to also spotlight a Teacher of the Month throughout the academic year.

Each honoree is nominated by their public school principal and presented with a certificate and gift bag in honor of their achievement. We're grateful to have such extraordinary educators in our City - and we value their positive impact on the lives of Sunrise students and families.
