Sunrise Golf Village Infrastructure Improvements

PROPOSED PROJECT START:  Spring 2024
TENTATIVE PROJECT COMPLETION:  Fall 2025

The City of Sunrise Utilities Department has contracted Murphy Pipeline Contractors, LLC. (MPC) to replace the water main and force main systems in the neighborhood bounded by NW 29th Street (north), NW 20th Court (south), North University Drive (east) and North Pine Island Road (west).  See map below for details.

This project reflects the City’s commitment to proactively replacing aging infrastructure—minimizing costly and unexpected repairs, and providing a reliable network of underground pipes to move water to, and wastewater from, residents' homes.

While partial, short-term road closures will be required, our contractor will ensure that detours are clearly marked and residents have access to their homes. 

Brief service interruptions will be scheduled and announced in advance of the work. All construction will be performed during the day.
