Qualifying categories of household hazardous waste can be dropped off at recurring events throughout the year. Please use caution, as materials such as chemicals, electronic devices, batteries, and other waste may be a threat to personal health and safety or at greater risk of catching fire if not properly handled and disposed of. The U. S. Fire Administration and FEMA recommend sealing and storing these items properly, never mixing them, and following the instructions on the labels at all times. Batteries should be safely disposed of if you notice an odor, change in appearance, or leaking.
