Commercial garbage collection in the City of Sunrise is provided by Republic Services, Inc. Non-residential customers should call Republic Services, Inc. at (954) 327-9504 for more information on establishing, changing or discontinuing garbage service.

Commercial Recovered Materials
Commercial recovered materials is available to businesses in Sunrise that produce a mix of solid waste and recyclable waste (paper, plastic, glass, metal, rubber and textile). These items must be separated and disposed of in separate containers (dumpsters). It is the responsibility of both the business owner and the hauler to ensure that solid waste materials are not included with recyclable materials. While the solid waste must be hauled exclusively by All Service Refuse Company, Inc., a business may contract with any City Approved Hauler List [PDF] for removal of recovered materials.

Register To Become A Recovered Materials Dealer
All Recovered Material Dealers are required to register with the City each year prior to conducting business in Sunrise.

If you wish to conduct business in Sunrise, you must submit the Recovered Materials Dealer Registration Form [PDF] along with your state certification. Registrants are entitled to operate for a period of up to one (1) year from the date of issuance provided, however, that all registrations expire on September 30th of each fiscal year. Please execute and return the registration form, along with the required documents and a $200.00 registration fee payment.

Please note, each recovered material dealer must report to the City consistent with regulations, reporting format and reporting frequency established by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, which shall include identifying: the types and approximate amount of recovered materials collected, recycled, or reused, stored or delivered to a recovered materials processing facility or disposed of in a solid waste facility; and the collections where any recovered materials were disposed of as solid waste.
