Home MenuDrop Saver Poster Contest
Sunrise Utilities partners with the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association to celebrate the importance of conserving our drinking water through the statewide Drop Savers Water Conservation Poster Contest.
The goal of the contest is to create awareness about the importance of water in our daily lives and why conservation is important. There are 5 divisions including K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th graders, middle school (6th – 8th graders) and high school (9th – 12th graders), and within a division, and schools compete against each other.
Sunrise Utilities collects student posters within our Utility Service Area public schools including Sunrise, Davie, Weston and Southwest Ranches. A winner from each division is selected by the judging panel based on creativity, clarity of conservation message, use of theme, and originality. The winning poster in each division is sent to the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association to compete at the state level.
