Sunrise has some of the finest Fire-Rescue facilities in all of South Florida. Each Fire-Rescue station houses specialized Fire-Rescue apparatuses to respond to a variety of both emergency and non-emergency incidents.
The numbers that identify Broward County's 100+ fire stations are based on the order in which they were originally built. Once a City has established a station, they may keep its number - even if the station is rebuilt or relocated within the municipality. Under this county-wide system, no two stations share identifying numbers - preventing confusion when fire-rescue teams work together to provide mutual aid.

In the event of emergency, dial 9-1-1, not an individual station.
