The Engineering Division, including Landscaping as a component of the Division, are reviewers of all site plan applications including Development Review Committee (DRC) and administration applications. The submittals are reviewed for compliance with the City of Sunrise Code of Ordinances, and all applicable engineering and landscaping standards and policies. The specific sections related to landscaping and irrigation are located in Chapter 16, Article VII of the City Code of Ordinances. The standard checklist for Engineering review [PDF] and Landscaping review [PDF] should be used to assist applicants and consultants with the requirements of site plan package, as well as the Approved Plant List [PDF].
