Gardening For Wildlife Workshop

Attendees will learn how to create a wildlife-friendly habitat to attract and provide for butterflies and birds, and will take home butterfly-attracting plants and seed packets. This is a FREE, family-friendly event. To register, email sustainability@sunrisefl.gov or call 954-888-6043.
Our Sunrise Be a Butterfly Hero program serves to engage folks in learning about Florida-Friendly Landscaping which emphasizes native plants that often require less water, chemicals and maintenance - and provide essential habitat for our native and migratory wildlife including imperiled pollinators! The City of Sunrise is proud to be a certified Community Wildlife Habitat™ through the National Wildlife Federation, with over 250 certified habitats in Sunrise!
The workshop is hosted by Sunrise Good and Green and in partnership with NatureScape Broward as part of the Connectivity Project made possible by the National Wildlife Federation, and the Community Foundation of Broward.
