Join the City of Sunrise and parks throughout the country in a fun challenge to see how many pollinator species can be documented this September. It is easy to participate by joining an event or making observations on your own, using the iNaturalist app. With the iNaturalist app, you simply snap a photo and upload, and the online community will help identify the species. Participate by exploring Flamingo Park here in Sunrise starting September 1 through September 30. Any observation you make will count during our event. Join the project!
On Saturday, September 18, join the City of Sunrise Good and Green for a BioBlitz BINGO event at Flamingo Park (12855 NW 8 Street) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm:

• Learn how to identify and about common local species from local experts
• Play our BioBlitz BINGO and take home a prize (while supplies last)
Pick up your BINGO card on 9/18 starting at 9:00 am at the Flamingo Park Meeting Hall. If you have questions about this event, call the City’s Sustainability Officer at 954-888-6043 or email sustainability@sunrisefl.gov.
