"Animation Comes to Life" Parade & Family Fun Day
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
City Park, 6700 Sunset Strip
Animation-themed floats will wind their way west along Sunset Strip from NW 12th Street to City Park, where the celebration continues with free refreshments and a children's fun zone.

4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Outdoors at the BB&T Center, One Panther Parkway
There’s something for everyone at our nighttime celebration, including a children’s fun zone and an assortment of food and beverage vendors. This year’s entertainment lineup includes three fantastic bands:
5:00 p.m. – Skotch Bonnett Band
(reggae and R&B)
6:15 p.m. – Mr. Nice Guy
7:45 p.m. – Grand Funk Railroad
9:15 p.m. – Fireworks display!
This crowd-pleasing event is presented in collaboration with Wheelabrator Technologies, BB&T Center, Florida Panthers, Ed Morse Sawgrass Auto Mall, Metropica, Sun-Sentinel, The Beach 102.7 FM, The Ticket 790 AM, Bahama Breeze, and Memorial Healthcare System. FOR YOUR SAFETY, the following items cannot be brought into the event area at the BB&T Center:
Backpacks, bags larger than 12" x 12", coolers, glass bottles, alcohol, weapons, drones,
fireworks, pets, and bicycles. (Bring a lock to park your bike in the lot.) All bags will be searched.
