This program is open to graduating high school seniors who are residents of the City of Sunrise and meet the program’s income guidelines.

Through the Outstanding Citizenship Scholarship Program, the City of Sunrise makes available two, two-year scholarships (60 credit hours) for graduating high school seniors to attend most Florida colleges. All students - whether of average or high-achieving status - are encouraged to apply for these scholarships. It is our belief that every student deserves a chance to attend college and this scholarship may be the key to fulfilling your dreams.

If you would like to be considered for the 2017 Outstanding Citizenship Scholarship, please complete and submit our application: 2017 Outstanding Citizenship Scholarship Application (Revised 2/2/2017). Applications are also available through high school BRACE advisors.
